Here at Troy Homes, we have a wealth of experience as a small housebuilder with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering luxury. We take time and care choosing locations for new developments that strike the perfect balance between being connected to the city and offering a lush, rural escape.
Two of our newest upcoming developments in Nazeing and Studham do just this.
Nazeing
This gorgeous new-build development in Essex will consist of 36 three and four-bedroom semi-detached homes, many with expansive gardens and sweeping views of the rolling countryside.
The village of Nazeing is neighboured by a patchwork of fields and is the perfect location for taking life at a more relaxed pace. The stunning parkland course at Nazeing Golf Club is just a stone’s throw away, and the local cricket club is a social hotspot for the community over the summer months. Anyone keen on outdoor leisure activities is simply spoilt for choice with dozens of leafy towpath walks along the River Lea, cycling routes around Penny’s Hill and the nearby Fisher’s Green Sailing Club, where you can sail, windsurf and paddleboard.
The surrounding area is dotted with farm shops selling quality local produce, as well as being home to many timber-framed pubs and vibrant garden centres.
Nazeing has recently become incredibly popular with city dwellers looking to relocate further away from the city. Yet, its excellent public transport links mean London is still only a short journey away with trains from the nearby Broxbourne Station taking you into London Liverpool Street in just 22 minutes.
Construction is due to commence later in 2021, with first completions in summer 2022. In exciting news, Troy Homes has now exchanged contracts with housing association B3 Living on the sale of 18 of these exquisite homes. We are looking forward to working closely with B3 over the coming months.
Studham
Our new Bedfordshire-based development is situated on Clements End Road in Studham. Comprising eight homes of either two, four or five bedrooms, each property features a sizeable garden and proximity to vast outdoor space. The two-bedroom homes will also benefit from a spacious study — perfect for anyone spending more time working from home in our post-pandemic world.
Studham is a beautiful village located in the ancient, wooded area of the Chiltern Hills — an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its rich wildlife and quintessential rural landscape. The Telegraph even named the village one of the best places to live during lockdown thanks to its breathtaking scenery, variety of cycle routes, top-rated schools and fast broadband connection. Studham is also a short drive from Whipsnade Zoo!
What’s more, the gorgeous Ashridge Estate National Trust park is just under 15 minutes away by car, where you can visit acres of unspoiled countryside steeped in British history.
Despite being tucked away among the greenery, Studham is not far from Luton Airport. The village is also close to larger towns such as Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, meaning it remains a prime location for anyone requiring a regular link into London. Berkhamsted’s historic high street is brimming with a selection of both independent clothing boutiques and well-known shopping brands, while The Marlowes Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead offers dozens of diverse shops, services, cafés and restaurants.
Construction at Studham is due to commence in mid-2021, with first completions anticipated for spring 2022.
